There are movies that critics forget… but your childhood never does.

This 18x24 original acrylic on canvas titled “William Tell Overture,” is inspired by Legend of the Lone Ranger. It might not be everyone’s favorite movie, but it was one of mine growing up.

The moment the music kicked in, everything felt possible. Speed. Dust. Friendship. Adventure. This painting is about that exact feeling—the rush before the story really takes off, when you’re a kid and the world feels wide open. I can hear the them just looking at this piece.

Art doesn’t come from perfection, it comes from memory, emotion, and the things that quietly helped shape who we are.

🖼️ Original painting is available at Super Happy Incredible Toys
Feel free to DM with questions or come see it in person.

I’m truly honored to have my Roy Orbison piece hanging at the Roy Orbison Musuem in Wink, Texas. Today I delivered prints I had made they could give away to visitors. I also want to say thank you to the people at for making this possible, by donating the piece to the Museum. Not only are they an advocate for people, they are an advocate for art as well.

For generations of Houstonians, Astroworld wasn’t just a theme park, it was a rite of passage. Opened in 1968 across from the Astrodome, the park quickly became the beating heart of Houston’s fun and imagination. With its thrilling coasters, live music, and summer energy that buzzed in the humid air, it was where kids became teenagers and teenagers became adults…one ride, one laugh, one memory at a time.

For me, Astroworld was more than an amusement park, it was the backdrop of my youth. In the 90’s, it was my weekend hangout spot, my first job, and the place where I met the mother of my children. We may have gone our separate ways since, but Astroworld gave me the greatest blessings I could ever ask for, my kids, and the foundation of who I became. It taught me how to show up, how to work hard, how to lead, and how to find joy even in the chaos of a busy summer shift.

Long after its gates closed, Astroworld still lives on in the hearts of those who grew up with it. A symbol of Houston pride and the magic of simpler times. For anyone who walked its paths, heard the screams from the Texas Cyclone, or watched fireworks light up the skyline, it wasn’t just a theme park. It was home. These are my memories and this is the Real Astroworld.

For the last 18 years he provided us with a lot of memories…. Good, bad, scary and funny. He was the grumpiest and sweetest little tough guy I ever knew. This is the first “pet” I have ever truly let in my heart that became family for me. My mom brought him home to us and he instantly fit in. While my heart is really heavy right now, I’m grateful for all the memories and joy he brought us. I have so many Chester stories I love to tell. He wasn’t in pain and his last moments were just as fitting and perfect as it could be for him. He left in his sleep, spending his last night at home in DH, in his own bed, wrapped in his blanket and Chris ( the person he loved the most) was the last person that tucked him in. I never thought losing a “pet” could leave me with such a hole in my heart, my eyes are watering as I type this, but that little rowdy mother fu**er wasn’t a pet….he was family. I’ll miss you forever Chester Bennington Salazar.

“Temple of Kukulcan” 30” x40” Acrylic on Canvas. I recently visited Chichén Itzá and was so inspired by what the Mayans accomplished there that I had to come home and paint it. Originally it started as a study piece in this retro pop art style I’m working on but somehow transitioned into something more for me. I’m really having fun painting in this style. The clouds were a lot of fun to design and paint. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting in. This is the also first official painting under my J Heezy alias. If there’s enough interest I may do prints but as of now The original is available for purchase, slide into the DM for info. Or if you want to see it in person at my studio

I am so Honored to have my “notorious GRINGO” acrylic on red velvet piece hanging in such an awesome place. is a creative, charming and cool spot that’s also home to a very good cause. If you are a cat lover and have never been to this place I would defenitely go check it out. They host a lot of little cool parties (you can check out their calendar) as well as assist you every step of the way with finding and adopting your next little best friend. Centrally located in the Heights, with a very helpful and friendly staff , it’s definitely one of those under the radar cool places that everyone loves to find in Houston.

“And the new…” 18x24 acrylic on black velvet. I’ve been a boxing fan as long as I can remember, dropped some blood in the ring myself growing up. I also credit getting back into a gym and boxing with getting me back on track in life last year. That being said I’ve had a few favorite fighters to watch and follow in my life. Hagler, Oscar, El Feroz, and Manny to name a few. Now it’s this guy….Vergil Ortiz. I’m excited to follow his career and see the things he’s gonna accomplish. This was the moment he won his first world title last year. I’ve painted him before but I really wanted to paint this moment and put it on black velvet.
