ArtX NonProfits (formerly Art Cars of Houston) launched with a bang in 2009, presenting GlowOrama, a celebration of art and technology. Fire balls, glowing Art Cars and sparkling performers rollicked through Discovery Green to join the lights bouncing off the walls of the George R. Brown Convention Center creating a spectacular explosion of light and sound. GlowOrama was such a success that in 201

0 the event was moved to New Year's Eve and named a City of Houston Signature Event. GlowOrama NYE was televised live, preempting Dick Clark's NYE broadcast, and in 2011 was absorbed into Houston's blockbuster "New Year's Eve Live". Today ArtX aims to foster creativity through a variety of mediums - from flow arts to art vehicles to fire art to technology. We offer workshops, one-on-one training and artistic assistance to help you build your dream! Just want to rent a bit of sizzle? We can help you there too! Illuminated and fire-y performers, flow artists, and art bikes or cars add the sparkle and sizzle to any event and celebration whether indoors or out, public or private.
