Our purpose is to connect local artists with the local community.
A market place to help local artist sell their artworks to local art enthusiasts. We encourage those who like the art shown here to purchase the art by contacting us. The purchase of art here goes to support local artists to keep doing what they do best.
We also welcome local art businesses and non-profits to post with us and we will aid in promoting local art events.
This endeavor is headed by the current President of the Tomball Art League (TAL) Gabe Riquelme (Re-Kel-May) Who saw a need for local artists. A lot of artists he talked to, had little to no experience on how to sell art. Having no time to help all the artists with this problem individually, being an artist himself and having little time to give, he decided to create this marketplace which can help many artists.
The other problem He encountered was some artists, especially hobby artists, did not have the income to spend promoting their art. A problem that was also solved using this marketplace. For a low cost, artists can promote locally and reach thousands of viewers and possible buyers.
Buyers
The price of the art is as posted. We do welcome offers. In which case we would communicate the offer to the artist and you would receive a prompt reply.
We handle all pick up and drop off of art and see that the proceeds get to the artists.
We also have a local business that can handle the transaction of the art and payment at the request of either artist and/or buyer. That location is Easel Street at 205 N Sycamore St in Tomball.
