Thanks to all my friends that dropped by and for all the new ones I met today!! There were some genuine car enthusiasts and I had the pleasure of live painting four cars! WRX, S2000, Miata, and a blue Rx-7 (sadly forgot to take a photo). I ended the day with .media shooting some nice video….and with a flat tire, but well worth it!

This marks nine years of “Best in Show” Coffee paintings for . Three 8”x10”s are usually quick, but the details…(cough cough) carbon fiber namely, made them take about two months. Regardless, I enjoyed the challenge and look forward to many more events! Cars featured are KTM XBow GT-XR, McLaren 750s Spyder, and Pagani Huayra Roadster.

I’ve been preparing to live paint at car shows for a long time now. My anxiety in producing the absolute best quality work I can, means paintings this size takes me days, not minutes. I didn’t think 30 minute paintings would be good enough….I think I proved myself wrong.
