Team & Executive Quotes
"Our 20th anniversary season laid a strong foundation, but this year is about building the future," said Owner Larry Leonard. "With Clevetta Young and JB expanding our community outreach, and our roster locked in, we are ready to measure ourselves against the absolute best right out of the gate."
"Day one of camp sets the tone for everything we want to achieve," said Head Coach Terence Dill. "We brought in new faces who complement our core leaders seamlessly. Facing the defending champion Gorillas in Week 1 gives us an immediate benchmark for where we need to be."
"Winning Co-Player of the Year with Cam was a blessing, but our main goal is bringing a title to Houston," said Dylan Spriggins. "The DFW Gorillas earned that trophy last season, and hosting the champs on opening night is the exact test we want to see where we stand."
"As point guard, my focus in camp is getting our new guys integrated quickly," added Cameron Moore. "You respect what DFW accomplished as MBL Champions, but when September 19th comes, we plan to protect home court and set a new standard."
"To beat the champions, you have to outwork them on the glass and in the paint," stated Gabriel Drayton. "Training camp is where that physical grit is built. We know the challenge DFW brings, and we're locking in from day one."
