I’m Annick Willis, owner of Mins Events,
I’m the face behind your venue rental
and decor needs in Houston.
I’m a wife, and a mother of a set twins,
boy and girl, God surely blessed me that way🙏🏾
I’m enjoying each moment with those 3 ❤️
I am someone who is very creative, I love beauty! So I started my business journey by helping my friends and family celebrate in beauty, I use to drive long distances to multiple locations to go setup decorations.
Before that I was working in retail, I was good at sales, so I got promoted to manage 2 store locations at the same time, but after I got my babies, my priorities changed, reason why I started looking to do something that I love, regain my autonomy, do something that would elevate myself and make me feel alive.
I found a business mentor and started working on my dream. In 2019 I found my venue’s location, right before Covid and started working on it.
Building it was the easiest part, even though it was pretty much looking like nothing at first 🤭 the hard part was the administrative part…you better make sure to know what you are doing. ( hit me up if you are looking into opening your own, I offer mentorship, check my other page Annick willis)
And once you do it for one, you can do it again and again…
I’m also all about empowering other women entrepreneurs in our community, we need each other to build bigger together, give a better chance to our children.
Besides working, I also enjoy partying! I can be the light of a party real quick! 😆 And my own celebrations are always special 🙌
