At 6 feet tall, this cross was the biggest one I ever made. I worked on it over the summer that I did my seminary internship at Aldersgate UMC with Mike Schafer in Lubbock. It was commissioned by Elroy and Vicki Wisian - long time friends and a father in the faith to me.

Hiking the Weaver Family land off the Caprock to collect juniper and mesquite for new sculptors. We got caught in a beautiful snow storm on Saturday, and had to be pulled back out to the highway. We got to spend time with my Mom's Sister, Brother, and their spouses, and got a lot of wood for new sculptures.
