Our fearless leader Rich Brotherton is really going through it right now. Earlier this year Rich was diagnosed with a rare form of ALS and the road ahead is looking difficult.

‼️ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

Our good friend Rich Brotherton was diagnosed with a rare form of ALS earlier this year. It's been devastating for him and his family. He is a lifelong musician who has toured the world and has produced and played with countless artists over the decades in Austin and further afield. All who know him, love him. A real Austin Treasure.

Rich has given more to the music community than anyone I can think of, and now it’s time to give back.

Join us, December 9 at The Paramount Theatre where we will celebrate Rich’s contributions to music. This incredible, star studded lineup is a testament to his prestigious career and it’s going to be a night to remember. All proceeds will go to Rich and his family to help with their upcoming expenses.

Congratulations Pat Byrne!!

We folk here at Howlin' Dog Music Group have been working hard in the last few months going through 141 artist applications and then narrowing them down to the 10 folks (plus the legacy grant) who will receive a little help in funding their next project. It's a hard thing - we wish that we could give money to everyone who applied, as they are all worthy, and so many are already doing such great work in the world.

But we're feeling great about these folks - the HDMG class of 2025. They are all awesome and wonderfully qualified, and we can't wait to see what they do in the world with a little help from HDMG, and truly, from so many of you music supporters out there!
