The Summit The best little warehouse in Texas. This collection of uses is geared towards augmenting the burgeoning cultural scene.

Brainchild of Mike McMullin, Alexander Coco, and James Vehslage, The Summit is a warehouse that is home to Dat Roos Sound and Honey Badger Books, as well as host to events including music, film, art, literature, etc. The Summit's mission is to nurture and support the music, art, and literary communities here in Houston in order to benefit our community as a whole. Our overall goal is to express the great creative resources Houston has, but that need exposure, and to help to ignite passion in our community for our own city. We want to be a part of making our own hometown something attractive to creative investment and to provide opportunities to lead a fulfilling creative life. The space will be used as a venue for musicians, a rotating gallery for artists, a movie theater, DIY classes and workshops on a wide variety of subjects, a dining hall, and a general social event space.
