🎉 2027 CHARITY BINGO APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN! 🎉

It’s that time of year—we’re planning our 2027 Charity Bingo calendar!

Each month, Charity Bingo at the Chartiers Township Community Center raises funds for Chartiers Friends of the Park, a 501(c)(3), and a rotating local nonprofit or fundraising group. With only 12 Bingo nights available in 2027, spots are limited and, unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate every applicant.

📅 Bingo is held the 2nd Thursday of each month
📍 Chartiers Township Community Center
📋 Applications are open through September 30, 2026

****Preference will be given to organizations that are a local (Chartiers Twp based) nonprofit, school booster, or fundraising group****

If your organization is not Chartiers Township-based, or the individuals you serve are not primarily from Chartiers Township, you may still apply to be placed on a cancellation waitlist in the event a scheduled organization has to cancel.

Spots are competitive, so submit your application today for your chance to be part of one of our community’s most successful and high-impact fundraisers!

Set beneath the Paris Opera House, this timeless story follows the mysterious Phantom, a musical genius captivated by the young soprano Christine. As Christine's love for her childhood friend Raoul grows, the Phantom's obsession leads to a dramatic tale of love, jealousy, and heartbreak. 🎭

🍽️ After the show, we'll head to the Grand Concourse Restaurant in Station Square for dinner. Housed inside Pittsburgh's beautifully restored historic train station, the Grand Concourse is known for its stunning architecture, exceptional service, and delicious food—the perfect way to end a fantastic day in the city! ✨

🚌✨ ANOTHER BUS TRIP IN THE BOOKS! ✨🚌

Today we headed to Parkersburg, West Virginia, making this our 5th different state visited on a Chartiers Township bus trip this calendar year! 🎉🗺️

🏝️ Today’s adventure took us back to the early 19th century with a visit to Blennerhassett Island!

Our group took a ride aboard the Island Belle sternwheeler 🚢 to the island, where we enjoyed a day filled with history, sightseeing, and fun, including:

🏛️ A guided tour of the historic Blennerhassett Mansion
🐴 A horse and carriage ride
🚶‍♀️ Time to explore the island
🍽️ Lunch
📚 Plenty of history and beautiful scenery!

We hope everyone who joined us had a wonderful time and enjoyed another great day of exploring! ❤

Have you seen our newest lineup of bus trips? 🚌✨

Our bus trips have quickly become one of our most popular programs, and we're proud that every trip is planned and coordinated right here at the Community Center! From Broadway shows and holiday adventures to historical tours and day trips, there's something for everyone.

Registration is easy! Sign up and pay online (www.chartiersparks.com), or call Angela O'Connor, Parks & Recreation Director, to pay by phone (724-485-2126)or schedule a time to register in person.

Enjoy the full Churrasco dining experience before floor seats to the award-winning Broadway production at the Benedum Center.

🎄 Tuesday, November 10 – A Christmas Story House & Castle Noel ($139)
Tour the iconic movie house, enjoy lunch, and experience America's largest year-round indoor Christmas attraction.

🎉 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us Thursday night, 8/13/26, for our Monthly Charity Bingo! 🎉

Thanks to your generosity and participation, we raised an incredible $4,043 to benefit the Chartiers Township Senior Citizens Group! ❤️

If you’re 60+ and looking for more ways to get involved, come join the seniors at the Community Center! They offer exercise classes, cards, crafts, bingo, a monthly luncheon, and more!

⚠️ PARKING NOTE FOR TONIGHT’S BINGO! ⚠️

The school is also hosting an event tonight in their parking lot at the same time as Bingo. Our doors open at 5pm.

🚗 Our Community Center parking lot fills up FAST! If there are no spots available in the Community Center lot, the next best place to park is the Arnold Park parking lot accessed via W Pike St.

🚶‍♀️ There is a sidewalk that leads directly from the Arnold Park lot to the Community Center front doors, making it an easy and convenient option!

🥐 A stop at Oakmont Bakery
🚋 A ride on Molly's Trolleys
🚠 A trip up the Duquesne Incline
🍽️ Lunch and shopping in the Strip District
🎭 A private tour of Heinz Hall to wrap up the day

We're excited to share that we've just posted NEW bus trips and are now completely scheduled through the end of 2026, with two additional trips already planned for March 2027.
