Another year gone by, but finally some cool news I know many have been waiting for!

I now have all the molds to my New Nightmare glove and bones again after years left behind in Oregon! They've made it safely to Texas and I'm feeling motivated to run some test castings and see about producing some stuff again.

What a great Halloween! Maybe topped last year's costume with this one.

Slim from Killer Klowns from Outer Space! Completely repainted the head to be more movie accurate and realistic, added eyeballs, custom scratch made collar and klown shoes all from movie authentic materials + trim and finish work.

For scale, I'm 6'2" and in this suit I'm looking out through the mouth. So the whole klown is nearly 7' tall!

We had a huge number of kids and families through the neighborhood and had a blast interacting with everyone, taking pics, and creeping people out. 😆

So there's been a ton of new followers on this page recently, even though my last post was over 2 years ago. Figured I might as well make a new post and thank everyone who has recently followed and those who have been following for 10 years or more!

People constantly message me about the New Nightmare Glove and I want to start posting new updates and details on it again soon! There are new sources for other people's versions of this glove out there now, so it amazes me people still think about this one despite only 3 ever being made and none sold to anyone (at least not officially, as I still have the only 3 ever produced which I acquired back from a couple sales. 😄)

I'm going to start posting new photos and details here of the glove, the molds, the blades, and all varieties of stuff as this was quite a big project originally back in ~2009-2010 and never quite got off the ground the way I intended. Mostly due to my career taking me in new directions from special effects to a variety of roles in TV production, from camera op, to directing, producing, editing, etc. and then moving across the country several years ago.

Now settled in Texas, I'm feeling that creative spark again!

It's been a long time since I posted here publicly, but lots of private messages constantly about the New Nightmare glove! I've moved to Texas, and finally setting up a work space again and will post some fresh updates here this year as I begin working on some new projects and get back to the glove builds. For now, here's a recent shot of the glove I had signed by Miko Hughes last week. Now Robert, Heather, and Miko have seen and held it. Gives me some new motivation to refresh the molds and get busy on grinding/polishing the steel blades again.

The film I worked on last summer as lead special effects artist is now available to watch! It is embedded on www.MDMFilms.com and is the first 15 minutes of what we hope will become a feature length film. Fair warning: it is quite violent and gruesome, but that's why many of you on my list will want to see it! Watch in full screen 1080p if you can. The cinematography and little details captured are beautiful. Starring Francis Capra and Mike Gonzalez among other very talented actors.

A team of creative individuals who share a united goal of creating the most provocative and entertaining Independent Feature Films.

Well, many of you have been asking me about the New Nightmare glove lately, and as you know I've had the project on hold for a while due in part to my busy schedule, but also due to the core in the master mold being unusable for good castings. I've been toying with the idea of making "display only" gloves -- silicone skinned with a wire skeleton and foam filling to keep the shape and still be poseable. Please let me know if anyone would be interested in unwearable "display only" replicas. (At least until I can get around to fixing/re-building the core.)

Finally caught up on sleep after a fantastic weekend on the set of Elude. Thanks to all the great cast and crew who worked tirelessly through three nearly 20 hour work days, and especially Big Mike G who looked like a candy-coated piece of raw meat by the end of the shoot, thanks to my silicone prosthetics and corn syrup blood! He was in makeup from 5:30am to nearly 10pm on Sunday!
