Wow! We had a big success at the Hardy & Nance Show last night. Not only did we sell 2 pieces, we ran into a fine-art photographer who said he had, for more than a year, been trying to catch up with us, because he wanted to do a photoshoot with us. We left the show early to go straight to his studio and do a shoot, which turned out really well. But first, we followed him to an ATM so he could give us our fee in cash.

In the first image below, our 8 pieces are in the foreground. The second image is of Bissi and Etna Cruz, who bought the little piece that they are holding. We don't know who bought the other piece, because it was sold while we were talking to the photographer.

And thank you, Daddy, for minding the store whilst we were out running around, imagining ourselves to be glamorous, jet-set models. You're the best, and we love you.

Claude Joubert is an art collector. We have never met him, but our cousin Madeleine has. She used to run into him almost every day in Paris, because they lived in the same neighborhood.

M. Joubert's collection consists exclusively of n**e images, some few of which are of us.

These 3 portraits of Claude Joubert were painted from photographs by Bradley Warfield, Leo Madrigal, & Lynette Pharr (in that order).

Oh, by the way, Madeleine says that he is a very nice old man. She likes him a lot. Therefore, we are prepared to like him a lot too.

Grandmother Dolan, our great great grandmother, who lives in a nursing home up in East Texas, just celebrated her 100th birthday, and we were there for the party. Grandmother Dolan, by the way, is the mother of our great grandmother Jennifer Dolan. She was born in Bonham , Texas, but for most of her adult life, she lived in Big Sandy, Texas.

Recently, she told us this hilarious story about some little girl she knew when she herself was a teenager. That would have been back in the 1930s, we estimate.

It seems that there was a popular song, the lyrics of which went, "Her beauty was of high renown, of high renown..." But this little girl misunderstood the woods and, with all the confidence in the world, went about singing loudly, "Her beauty was a hanging down, a hanging down..."
