We are proud at the Houston Palestine Film Festival to bring together four Palestinian American women directors from different generations through four films that carry memory, identity, love, and the questions of belonging.
Annemarie Jacir (Palestine 36)
Cherien Dabis (All That’s Left of You)
Shahd Shahroor (Meet the 3amos)
Colette Ghunim (Traces of Home)

Women who have shaped cinema over the years and carried their stories to the world, alongside a new generation rising today to tell its story in its own voice.

What unites them is more than film: a shared vision, roots that cannot be forgotten, and Palestinian stories that continue to be told and travel far.

There are stories that are not told… but experienced on screen.

Fleeting moments become memory, and distant voices find their way to us through film.

From different places, from experiences unlike any other, these films carry something deeper than the image itself.

Coming soon,we gather where the story begins.
