Sixteen years ago, Victoria began coaching a young dancer named Regan Hutsell.
Today, that young dancer is Miss America. 🇺🇸👑
It is almost impossible to put into words what it feels like to write that sentence.
For 16 years, Victoria has walked beside Regan through far more than dance steps—the years of training, the injuries, the difficult decisions, the auditions, the disappointments, the professional jobs and the dreams that sometimes felt impossibly far away.
She watched Regan become a Radio City Rockette and an artist with Birmingham Royal Ballet. But some of our most treasured memories are not from the grandest stages. They are the moments when she returned to our studio as Miss Regan, pouring her love and knowledge into our young dancers and nurturing their dreams as others once nurtured hers.
This past year, Regan came home to BPV to teach a fundraising Pilates class benefiting Texas Cares for Children. That day captured exactly who she is: a woman who uses her gifts, her platform and her beautiful heart to lift others.
The crown is extraordinary—but the heart beneath it is why this moment means so much to us.
Regan, we have known your determination, witnessed your resilience and loved you through so many chapters of your life. Watching the entire country recognize the woman we have believed in for all these years is a feeling we will never forget.
Your heart truly is as big as Texas, and Miss Regan will always have a home at BPV.
Congratulations, Miss America 2027. We could not love you more or be prouder to have been part of your journey. 🤍
