For decades, Memorial Day weekend at Miller has meant Motown memories for so many Houstonians 🎶

FRIENDLY REMINDER: This year, we’re working on improving Miller Outdoor Theatre grounds before we begin the 2026 season and due to construction, there will be no Motown performances at Miller this weekend.

Our 2026 Performance Season presented by H-E-B officially begins June 19 with our Juneteenth Culture Fest presented by Wells Fargo with additional support from Metro by T-Mobile.

As we look ahead to another exciting season on the Hill, we wanted to share a few favorite throwback moments from past performances.

And save the date: Dancin’ In The Street…Thriller On The Hill is coming to Miller on October 30! Produced by Bacement Foundation for the Arts and created by the team behind Houston’s beloved Motown & More R***e, this one-night-only R&B party will feature live performances, DJs, nonstop classics, and plenty of dancing.

Now, the campaign is officially entering its final weekend.

Over the past month, we’ve been incredibly moved by the response to the Gateway Paver Project and the memories, stories, and dedications shared by the Miller community.

As the campaign approached its close, we heard from many people who were still hoping to reserve a paver or finalize their inscription. Because of this incredible response, we are extending the campaign for one more week. If you’ve been thinking about reserving a paver, there’s still time!

And a big THANK YOU to everyone who has already reserved a paver and shared their stories, memories, and milestones with Miller.
