ebe Gunn features a 450 sq ft sound proof recording room with an isolation booth large enough for multiple vocalists or a piano. It also features natural lighting to reduce the “cave” effect common in many studios. The 250 sq ft control room offers clear sight lines to all areas of the recording room and offers comfortable seating and accurate monitoring. Each room has separate heating and cooling controls as well as dimmable lighting to ensure a comfortable environment. All of the musical instruments in the studio are available for client use, and the studio is also equipped with a refrigerator, a bathroom, and a small kitchen area.

Happy BIG 45 to my wife, love, and best friend Sarah. We were supposed to go to NYC for the weekend but the travel gods had other plans so we took an impromptu vacation to the best almost staycation location near Houston, Galveston! We had a great dinner at Gaido’s (the ultimate old school food jam of Galveston, still not owned by Tillman) and today just had a nice time going around town to the railroad museum, the naval museum, and hanging in one of the oldest cities in Texas. At this point, Sarah and I have been together on some level for more than half of our lives and I have zero regrets. Happy birthday Sarah! 😘

RHODES REPAIR! This 88key Mark I was referred to me from Rockin’ Robin (best guitar store in Houston ) for repairs. It was not making any sound, but is in excellent condition otherwise. Turns out it had nine bad pickups including two pairs that were next to each other killing the signal for the whole keyboard. Replaced the pickups and made some adjustments to even out the response. Plays and sounds great now! The owner is planning to sell it, so if anyone is interested, DM me and I’ll put you in contact with him.

This is one of five Rhodes pianos that I’ve done significant work on, (including one total rebuild) and feel confident enough at this point to say if anyone needs any work done on their Rhodes, I can help you out.
