Walk with meee…
So I recently gained an ancestor and the last couple weeks have been the most emotionally tumultuous times that I’ve experienced in many many years. It wasn’t that I wasn’t acknowledging or taking care of myself. If I’m honest, it was a combination of several life events and oh sweet grief was at the foundation of them all. And I decided, as I usually do, to “keep pushing”. Here are my reflections.
* Be intentional about sitting with grief or it will sit you down. My nervous system was so distraught I could barely move. (Iykyk)
* If you struggle with trust, work on that cause it was only trust for a very specific set of individuals that pulled me out of that dark.
* We can’t live in the world alone. Lean into the people you know are divinely placed in your life, they aren’t there for no reason.
* No matter what stage of grief you are in or what life is doing, also find something to be grateful for cause I PROMISE it could be worse.
* Acknowledge. Hold Space. Release. Repeat. That must be a lifelong practice.
Big love to my people✌🏾🤍💫
