Grace Zúñiga, Houston Arts Alliance’s chief programming officer, received the 2025 Mayor’s Hispanic Heritage Award for Art in the Community, with Oct. 6, 2025, proclaimed Grace Zúñiga Day in Houston.

The proclamation recognizes her commitment to expanding opportunities for artists, nurturing creativity within the Hispanic community, and bringing public art to life that reflects Houston’s people and cultures.

A celebration 20 years in the making. A future worth investing in.

The Gilded & Golden Gala honored Debbie Allen and H-E-B, brought Houston artists to the stage and raised more than $600,000 in gross revenue to help Houston Arts Alliance continue serving the city’s creative community.
