If you love zines and are in need of an internship or practicum this year, we have the job for you!

The Zine Library Houston, a cooperative project of Zine Fest Houston and Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, needs an energetic, outgoing, organized, and detail-oriented person to manage, develop, catalog, and activate this growing collection of small, independent publications. The ideal candidate is already connected with the zine community and/or an information science student but anyone may apply.

🎪Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and friends beyond the binary!🎪

📣 Prepare to be ASTOUNDED by the heart-pounding, spine-tingling mesmerism of our ZINE FEST HOUSTON 2026 POSTER!

Mastering the dark arts of illustration over years in an unknown land (Houston), ZFH 2026 Featured Artist Josh Ryan () has perfectly captured the always-exciting circus acts of creative professionals, makers, and artists of all types in this fabulously unhinged poster! If you weren't hype before, WE DEMAND YOU BECOME SO IMMEDIATELY. 😤

🤸🏽 THRILL at the amazing cash-and-pass acrobats, forever trading $5 back and forth for each other’s zines!

🏋🏿‍♂️ MARVEL at the feats of the Rizo-EZ strongman, carrying technical loads and work deadlines like so many feathers!

🫂 FEEL bemused pity for the self-employed creative, deftly juggling Maslow’s entire hierarchy of self-actualization on a contractual basis!

All this, AND SO MUCH MORE, at coming at you on November 21st!

🚨Registration for ZFH 2026 opens on August 9🚨

Can we get a ‘HONK YEAH’ in the comments!? What’s your circusona gonna be!? 👇🤡
