Sixteen years… wow. ❤️🎸

For the past 16 years, our studio has been so much more than rehearsal rooms & recording. It became a home for musicians, lifelong friendships, unforgettable parties, benefit shows, late-night jam sessions, and countless memories. We were honored to help so many bands and artists get their start, create merchandise, support fundraisers, and become part of Houston’s incredible music community.

This studio has been a huge part of our lives, and we’re so grateful to everyone who walked through our doors. Whether you rented a room, played a show, volunteered at a benefit, or simply hung out, thank you for being part of our story.

As the years have gone by, we’ve realized it’s time for a new chapter. We’re getting older, the music scene has changed, and we’re ready to slow down and enjoy more time with our kids and our granddaughter. Life moves fast, and we’re looking forward to having a little more of it for ourselves.

I’m Still making merch, banners, and doing photography—but only for a select group of friends and projects that I truly enjoy.

Don’t worry—we’re not going anywhere. We’re just stepping back from the constant hustle.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every musician, every band, every friend, and every person who supported Rock Room Studio over the last 16 years. You made it all worthwhile.

Here’s to the memories we’ve made… and to whatever comes next. ❤️🎶

Sadly I make this announcement. It started as a dream after driving home from band practice in the Woodlands and we lived in Friendswood. I was frustrated at the traffic and time and talking to Terri and she said … let’s do it! 16 years, we thank you all . This was unexpected.
