I'm back!
After a few years of hiatus from leatherwork, I’ve found a renewed sense of inspiration. What began in 2010 as a love for leather has evolved over time growing, pausing, and now returning with fresh energy and focus.
Darkness_Hyde’s Closet has grown into Skullkey Leather, a creative space dedicated to unique, handcrafted pieces. My interests span into collars, restraints, floggers, paddles, jewelry, chainmail, woodworking, and custom bo***ge equipment, with hopes of expanding into more art and different ways of expression.
I'm excited for the new opportunities!

Throwing it back to one of my most rewarding projects—handcrafting two St. Andrew’s Crosses from scratch in October 2019!
As an artist who thrives in leatherwork, chainmaille, jewelry, and custom kink creations, this was a chance to blend functionality with bold, artistic vision.
Every step was hands-on: from cutting and building each piece, layering them in matte black paint, to adding stainless steel hardware for strength. Each cross was stamped with the KT logo, making them as visually striking as they are sturdy. When they debuted in January 2020, they brought a powerful, unapologetic presence to the space.
I’m passionate about creating unique pieces that push boundaries and add a touch of artistry to kink. If you’re looking for custom work—from leather and chainmail to jewelry, fe**sh gear, or furniture—reach out, and let’s bring your vision to life!

A Sunday Funday with a Twist

We had the pleasure of joining House Ascension, a local Houston leather group, for their toy-making workshop—and it was a blast! It was incredible to see local artists come together, share their expertise, and create homemade DIY toys.

We were excited to assist by guiding everyone through the process of making bamboo bundles. These bundles provide the satisfying sensation of a cane without the rigidity of a solid rod—a perfect addition to any toy bag! This project is also a highlight of my Kinky on a Budget class, where I show people how to create exciting, playful toys without breaking the bank. Fun, creative, and cost-effective!

UPDATE - I'M BACK TO CREATE & DO CUSTOM WORK.

HIGHLIGHT:
Steam Punk Paddles.
Artistic paddles have always been a passion of mine, and these two are a perfect example of my craftsmanship from a few years back, designed to complement my steampunk-themed outfits.
The paddles are crafted from pine, meticulously stenciled with intricate gear patterns, and accented with detailed wood-burning. I painted them in rich metallic tones to give them a striking, industrial look. The back is lined with soft, oiled leather, offering a versatile sensation, perfect for both soft and medium impact play, enhancing the overall experience.
