"What Lies with You and I"

I shine because you shine, and now together we shine bright.
Brighter than any light through night for all sights to see from any height.
We glow for miles all the while having our smiles reach a new peak.
They stand in amaze, looking in a daze because the joy we have they seek.
You are my flower. You look so beautiful as you began to blossom in the spring.
I hear the birds sing. Do you know what I mean? With you, I can do anything.
Shoot to the moan or swim deep in the sea, you give me what I need to make it.
I can't fake it, how I feel, this is all for you, so take it.
You are my world and always will be. You allow me to see with new eyes.
We recognize the tries that we make for one another and now we're ready to see what lies.

"System Overload"

System overload. Emotions began to explode,
So I Control, Alt, and Delete, hoping it would change the mode.
I hit Escape trying to escape reality,
But my mentality causes me to contemplate on the fatality of the overload.
I try to download new emotions, but the system freezes.
Now I'm trying anything that eases my mind.
System overload, system overload.
Why must these emotions implode?
Why not reload to better days and better ways?
No, I'm stuck in this system of masquerades.
I begin a complete shutdown of the system to prevent from crashing to the ground.
But it's too late. System overload. System down.

Lost Soul

How do you turn the dark into light when you lose sight of who you are? You question your drive seeing your life take a dive and the stars that you reach for seem so far. The wonders flow through your mind as you try to make sense of this darkness that grows deep within, but once again you begin to feel as if this will never end. Happiness is just a mask of the true you, not allowing anyone to know the truth because you feel that if they knew, they wouldn't understand. Every plan falling short as you do what you can. Trying to be that man that everyone wants you to be. Feeling the pressure growing more and more, but no one hears your plea. Your white flag is waved, but you're still being attacked. And now you lack the understanding of why. Why when you try your world begins to die? Why when you try there's a lie after a lie? No matter how hard you apply what you feel is right, the light is being overshadowed by the dark.

New beginnings, but old endings. News routes, but old doubts. Bright skies soon covered with lies back doored with whys, pushing through with tries. They try to deny the things that you apply. They try to confuse, misuse, and abuse. Worries began to surface, blinding you from your purpose. Now you're looking for answers, but all you're brought are disasters. The darkness consumes you now you don't know what to do because the answers you seek doesn't even make a peep. Days will get better. You will see what truly matters. But you're tired of staying strong because of all the wrong that goes on.

Feeling restrained from being free, I see the struggle clear. That doesn't mean live in fear, so I appear the drive which flows through me in order to reach that place I see. The future with My Future combining futures where sunny days are more often then the rain. This here I proclaim to happen, the rain and Sun overlapping, still being able to smile, while walking miles through the traffic we call Earth.

Floating with you on my mind, realizing the time we share is where the truth will reside. Seeing the beauty of you is all I ever wish to do. Reaching our climax of life, together we continue our strides. Opening our eyes to a brand new day. Floating together you and I in a whole other way.

Her glow shines bright as she blossom in the light, showing everything she knows as she continues her flight. Dedicated to succeed, I see it in her eyes. Pushing & striding, soon the world will realize. I smile when she's here. She lets her hair down. The joy that comes upon me just because she is around. There's no feeling down, just endless smiles. She knows that for her, I'll go that extra mile. Now I thank God for bringing her to me. A future with me and her, I truly see.

We all go through our struggles to get to the other side, but what's waiting for us there as we push and as stride? Is it the joy we seek, that thing we try to find, or another storm we face while we continue our climb? Will we finally relax and be at peace, or have our troubles overwhelm us to point of no release? Can we see the worries go and have no care in the world, or will they surround us and attack us leaving scars internal? How will you let your storm change what lies before you? Where will you be in your life when your struggles are through?
