So, we had our first practice in the new room last night and WOW! It's amazing what a difference it makes! We also played our two newest songs, "Blue Girl" and "Fools Gold" for the first time! So ready for the next practice!!!!!!

I was drawn to you like Metal to A Magnet…
Such a Natural attraction that it seemed meant to be.

We fit together like lock and key, like two puzzle pieces
And all those other cliché analogies…
Like insects buzz obliviously to that mysterious light,
I soared, unenlightened, while you shined bright for me

That your luminescent perfection would ruin me?

These days I’m surfeited with glimpses of glitter
Those shimmering moments that kept me around
But I’ve realized that sparkle is only safe if peripheral
That direct light is blinding, So I keep looking down…
The cracks I didn’t count on have broken my stride
The cadence of my heart is a few beats behind
And the brilliant green that was my little exoskeleton
Has been charred for so long there’s no love left inside.
