Three years ago, Houston Bluesfest started with an idea: create a festival that celebrates Houston's blues heritage while bringing together artists, community leaders, cultural organizations, and music lovers.

Today, that vision has grown into:

We're proud of what we've built so far - and now we're even more excited about what's next.

As Houston Bluesfest enters its fourth year, we're inviting businesses, organizations, and community champions to become Founding Partners and help build the signature cultural tradition for Houston.

The best traditions don't happen by accident.

🎸 It’s wild to think that Houston Bluesfest is heading into its 4th year.

If you’ve been part of this journey already, thank you. And if you’re just finding us - welcome.

What started as a way to bring great blues music together with our community - has grown into something so much bigger. Each year we’ve seen more people show up, more artists lean in, and more of Houston’s music culture come alive in one place.

We’ve got some big changes and exciting things planned for 2026 - all with the goal of continuing to build something that celebrates Houston, supports our artists, and brings people together through music.

🙌 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙆 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙃𝙊𝙐𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙉! 🙌 What an unforgettable night. Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for our 3rd Annual Houston Bluesfest at East River 9 / Riverhouse Houston. This was our most successful Bluesfest to date and we truly couldn’t have done it without your support! We can’t wait to see everyone again next year! 🙌

A huge thank you to our 2025 Bluesfest lineup for delivering powerful and soulful performances: Leonard "Lowdown" Brown, Trudy Lynn, Van Wilks, and Allison Fisher!
