School is back in session! What's one communication tip you'd give to teachers, classmates, parents, or school staff working with Deaf or hard-of-hearing students?

Maybe it's something simple like:
• Make sure the student can see you before communicating
• Don't talk while facing away
• Use captions whenever possible
• Ask what communication method works best
• Don't be afraid to learn a few signs
