My nephew's creativity has always been so inspiring to me. One day, my sister told me that Malcolm had a hard day at school and came home and just started coloring. That's the day I KNEW we had to do a show together.

In this pop up art show, “Side of French Fries,” each piece is a tribute to the moments and objects that we love. Through this collection, we hope you discover beauty in the everyday, seen from two perspectives.

This is not your standard art workshop!

How it started:

My first art workshop was in 2014 as a mentor at a Chicago highschool. These young ladies helped me realize how much I love teaching in this medium.

When I gave them a blank canvas and said "paint what's on your heart" or asked them "how can you show emotion only using black and white?" They looked at me like 😶 lol. But I guided them through the process and we got there! And we had a great time doing it 😂
