Are you a Houston-area based Original Music artist/group or a Tribute band/performer? Fortuitously, your time has arrived. Beginning in September 2017, DNA Artist Management Group in conjunction with DNA Productions Presents will kick start our IAH-HOU CONCERT SERIES 2017. Each month, DNA will host several concert events featuring Houston-based musicians, artists, singers and songwriters at various venues around the metropolitan Bayou City area.
Additionally, the most talented artists/bands will be given the opportunity to occupy an opening act performance spot with national/international recording artists and groups on the Houston stops of their North American tours.
The best part of it all: No more playing for free. For the showcases, it will also experience a well-needed exercise in promotion and marketing - an essential for every emerging musicians and artists that IAH (our under class B international aviation designation for Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport requires). It ain't gonna be easy, but we will be by your side to guide you in building an ever-growing listener/fan following, in order that you will make the money that ALL OF YOU, as artists and entertainers, are worth!
So, if you are tired of the dismissive promises of local promoters and agents who never return your emails or phone calls or if you are not a part of these allegedly Houston Proud "above the board" bookers' inner circles or cliques, well, may we offer you an alternative?
Inspired, in part, by the creators of the innovative and prestigious SpringBoard Music Festival's tireless efforts to champion Bayou City talent, here is everyone's chance to get your IAH music heard and seen by not only devoted Houston fans but ultimately, by music-loving citizens of the world.
The first announced show of the series is a night at the iconic IAH venue Fitzgerald's. We will be occupying both the upstairs and downstairs stages for two separate elective and power-packed shows on September 23.
C'mon, every music aficionado has to love straight ahead hard rock, metal and grunge music, yeah? With that in mind, for the first bill of the night, we have assembled 4 of the hottest and hardest rockin' tribute bands in town: Testify (Rage Against The Machine tribute), KIDD SIX (rock tribute), Lounge Fly ( Stone Temple Pilots tribute) and Hardwired To Kill 'Em All - Houston's Metallica Tribute. The additional show of the night, on Fitzgerald's second stage, will be announced shortly. Stay tuned for details.
