If you have never been to Levy Park, here is what you are missing. Every week we run free programs for the whole community. We are talking Zumba, tai chi, dance classes, Bollywood & Bhangra, kids programming through Young Audiences of Houston, and Houston Grand Opera has even performed here. None of it costs a thing. The park is also full of things you just do not expect to find in the middle of the city. A Rain Garden that filters stormwater naturally. Live oak trees estimated to be over 90 years old that have been standing here longer than most buildings in the neighborhood. A dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs, open every single day for free. And if you are looking for something to do the second you get here, we have a community piano, mini golf, ping pong, and the Art & Game Cart stocked with giant games. There is always something happening out here. Come find your new favorite spot.
