A very young Erik Rathkamp with the very talented musician Kevin Hatcher at the Bavarian Gardens back in the day. The Rathkamp German Folkdancers and Eurofest with Kevin Hatcher will be performing at The Houston Saengerbund's Oktoberfest this Saturday, 9/24/25, 11 am - 4 pm, at their new home located at 1703 Heights Blvd. There will be plenty of music, dancing, singing, food, beer, and a kids zone, along with a ventriloquist. Come out and join us!

Tomball German Fest 25 Mar 2023. Rathkamp Dancers returned to Tomball, TX to reunite with some former dancers and a founding member of the group! It will always be in our blood no matter how far from home we stray!

Lederhosen and dirndl dresses are making a comeback in Austria.

The "Rathkamps" had a wonderful time performing at the Tomball Christmas Market!! No inclement weather will keep them down, they were there Friday (during the thunderous rainstorms) through Sunday. A good time was had by all, and the cold weather made it perfect time to partake of the German Christmas drink, Gluehwein!! Huge crowds over the weekend, if you've never been, this is one of the largest Christmas Markets in the U.S.A.! There will be another festival in the Spring, so stay tuned!
