Honored to have Marsha Dorsey-Outlaw as one of our guest artists for the SHARED GROUND exhibit. Marsha is an incredible artist with deep roots in the Texas art field including connections with The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, SPARK School Park Program, Community Artists' Collective, University of Houston, Project Row Houses.

Our family reunion 2026 😊 with an impromptu photo of all 50 of us (well two did not make it outside in time!)

I did NOT take enough photos but rest assured we relaxed, laughed a lot, sang, played games late into the night, had meaningful talks & walks, and honored my parents who raised 11 children. They left us this legacy of making every effort to come from all over the globe to reunite with siblings, cousins, and grandchildren every few years.

Happy 39th anniversary to us! Since we have some new followers along for the ride (thank you!) let’s reintroduce ourselves.
We are John Foelber and Judy Adams. Co-owners of Foelber Pottery Gallery & Studio.

Judy met John when she walked into his studio in 1985, newly transplanted to Houston and looking for a space to continue creating in clay. She rented one of the available studios… and the rest is history.

Together we have worked to build a ceramic community, championing fellow artists, teaching pottery classes, and giving back to the city when we are able. There have been many bumps in the road as small business owners/entrepreneurs/artists. We count our blessings and thank God for guiding us to each other. We are each other’s biggest cheerleaders and honest critics. Together we have carved out a life of love, laughter, and mutual respect. We have raised two beautiful, young adults who are flourishing with their own wonderful life-partners.

Red, White, and Blue.

The colors of the USA flag signify: Red for hardiness and valor, White for purity and innocence, Blue for vigilance, perseverance, and justice.

Reflecting on these virtues today. May we all pause and examine how we incorporate them in our daily lives.
