In collaboration with the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra, the George Memorial Library will host a musical journey through the different instruments that make up a symphony orchestra. This year, the orchestra will perform “The Magic of Music,” a compilation of works by George Bizet, Igor Stravinsky, Joseph Hayden, John Powell, and Edward Grieg. Stay after the performance for our instrument "petting zoo" where you can try out all the different instruments!

The performance will take place in the library's Jodie E. Stavinoha Amphitheater (behind the library). Seating in the outdoor amphitheater is concrete; you are welcome to bring cushions to sit on. This event is for all ages.
