One in five children in our community faces hunger. ❤️

That’s why KHOU 11 News is partnering with the Houston Food Bank Backpack Buddy program to help provide food for local students to take home on weekends.

Volunteers packed bags this past Saturday and you can help make an impact. 🎒

📺 Join us Thursday, August 27 for the live KHOU 11 Backpack Buddy Telethon from 4 to 7 p.m., or make a donation by texting FOOD to 71777.

Together, let’s Stand For Houston. 💙

Give it a listen and join us in celebrating the dads who show up, love big, and do their best every day. 🎧
