The Memorial High School Orchestra brought together more than 500 student musicians from Memorial HS, Memorial MS, Spring Branch MS, and the Frostwood and Bunker Hill Suzuki Fiddler programs for a beautiful combined concert at Don Coleman Coliseum.

From first notes on a string instrument to accomplished high school performers, this event showcased the full journey of SBISD orchestra students and the power of staying with a program over time!

The Memorial Symphony Orchestra will be performing their annual concert next Tuesday, March 4th at 7:00pm in the MHS Performing Arts Center. Admission is free. The program will include Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini, and Dvorak’s “New World” Symphony no. 9. Please come witness the fruits the incredible work that these students have been putting in the past couple months. I look forward to seeing you there!
