We will be hosting our first pickleball tournament at AVA!
Come join us for a fun filled tournament event on Saturday, November 16th!
Register you and a partner today to reserve your spot. Level of play will be beginners, intermediate and advanced up to a 4.0.

This tournament is open to beginner to intermediate players with skill levels of 4.0 and below. If you know your rating, please include it in the registration form so we can seed your team properly. If you do not know your rating, you will be seeded as a beginner. Use the chart below to determine or estimate your rating if you are not certain.
We will use a pool play format to separate the top half of the teams and place them in a gold single-elimination bracket. The losers of the semi-final match will play an additional game to determine 3rd place. The bottom half of the teams will be placed in the silver single-elimination bracket.
All pool play and bracket matches will consist of a single game to 15 points, with the winning team needing to win by at least 2 points. In the event of a 20-20 tie, a sudden death format will be used, with the first team to reach 21 points declared as the winner. The finals for the bracket matches will be best 2 of 3 to 11 points.
Seeding/Tie Breakers – seeding will be done based on overall record, head-to-head results, and then score differential. A 2-way tie is broken by head-to-head results with a 3-way tie being broken by score differential. Should there be a tie in score differential within a 3-way tie, the head-to-head result within that matchup will determine the higher seed between those teams.
We will be serving concessions during the tournament in our concession stand area. Please NO food or drinks (other than water or gatorade in the gym area). We have tables and chairs in the concession stand area. We will also be serving beer and wine. We have bleachers above for spectators and bleachers inside the gym area for all players participating in the tournament. We will schedule an open play time during the week of the tournament should you want to come and practice some matches before the day of the tournament to familiarize yourself with the play area and surfaces. We will announce this date and time soon. We have 4 restroom areas, plenty of seating and available space, and good air-conditioning.
