Thank you to our friends, supporters, and colleagues who joined us in New York to honor composer Missy Mazzoli, librettist Royce Vavrek, producer Blanton Alspaugh, conductor Patrick Summers, and our incredible cast, including bass-baritone Ryan McKinny.

As the Untitled Art festival celebrates its second year in Houston, we are thrilled to announce that General Director and CEO Khori Dastoor has selected Olga Titus as the winner of the Houston Grand Opera Artist Prize.

This award celebrates the intersection between the visual arts and opera. As the prize recipient, Titus will be commissioned by HGO to create a new work inspired by our upcoming world-premiere production of Aida.

Titus, a Swiss/Malaysian artist based in Switzerland and represented by IRL Gallery in Tribeca, creates multidisciplinary works that explore themes of identity, transculturalism, and hybridity.

We are proud to champion the arts during this vibrant cultural moment in our artistic community.
