Celebrating this major milestone! 🏛️✨

Two years ago this August, Mayor John Whitmire and Councilman Edward Pollard of the City of Houston officially recognized the International Entertainment Partnership (IEP) and Houston Entertainment Initiative (HEI) with a City Proclamation!

We are deeply grateful to Mayor Whitmire, Council Member Edward Pollard, Mayor Pro Tem Martha Castex-Tatum, Council Member Joaquin Martinez, Comptroller Chris Hollins, our Board of Directors, Advisory Board, committees, members and all of those that continue to support our mission.

Together, we’re shaping Houston’s cultural, arts and entertainment landscape, driving workforce growth, and positioning our city as a premier destination for the industry.

The IEP-HEI team was absolutely thrilled to partner with Tech Fest Live for their incredible STEM Go Pro Day in Houston 🔋

Our only mission: make sure the Entertainment Zone was the high-octane heart of the entire event. We kept the atmosphere electric, and we loved seeing hundreds of students use the zone to recharge, network, and connect the dots between entertainment and real-world technology pathways!

Thank you to Khalil and the entire TFL team for having us. The impact you are making in Houston is immense. We look forward to scaling this energy for our youth in the future. ✨
