Roxxie Roulette is a new burlesque performer in Houston, but the stage is not new to her. She grew up doing theatre and dance, which eventually led her to discover a love for aerial arts. While some might shake at the idea, she loves being upside down, high in the air.
Currently performing all over Houston, from silks to trapeze, she brings her passion to every stage she touches. And now, she’s stepping out as a burlesque dancer. She enjoys cooking, reading fantasy novels, and—though she may be an introvert at heart—she comes to life under the lights.
She’ll be your latest addiction, the kind you can’t shake. The stakes are high, but she’s plays a dangerous game you want to lose.

We are so excited and proud to announce our newest class offering at : Belly Dance with Natasha!

has been dancing since she could walk, learning and becoming proficient in a wide range of genres, but specializing in Slavic Folklore, Gypsy Dancing and Belly Dancing. She has been professionally belly dancing across the Houston area since 2020. (She’s also a burlesque performer with and will be stepping in to teach some of those classes soon!)

Belly Dance utilizes isolations of the body to create uniquely fluid movements. Open and welcoming to all levels, this class teaches basic moves and drills, such as chest and hip isolations, body rolls, arm movements, foot placement, proper posture and stance, floorwork and more.  What to wear: comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Crop tops or bras recommended if you’d like to see the movements of your body. Bare feet or socks.

We’ve been busy little bees lately, and we’re so excited for why!

We are ecstatic to debut some of our students from The Divine Darlings Burlesque Showcase Course tomorrow, March 10! These four students have been working so very hard the past several months to make their burlesque debut.

Divine Darling , who made her debut with the showcase in 2022, is headlining the show. And please welcome to the stage for the first time: Bonnie Implied, Mr. Bobert, Mari A’marte and Mr. Bobert!

Next Sunday we excitedly welcome back to The Burly Soirée stage: The Ever Ethereal, Kendall Aranel!

Kendall has been an entertainer in Houston for over a decade, as a Go-Go Dancer, Ambient Performer, Character Actor, Model and more. She began her burlesque journey in 2016 with Burly Q Lounge, and began performing as a soloist in 2021. The multi-talented artist is the Assistant Producer for Lil Pixie Presents at Social Beer Garden, where you can catch her on Fridays. In addition to being a performer, you can regularly find Kendall behind the scenes as a Stage Manager at burlesque events around town.

We are absolutely tickled pink to have The ✨amazing✨ Abby Cadabra join our cast this month!!!

The Abby Cadabra is a multi-award-winning burlesquer and pinup model who has performed all over the world. She has twirled her tassels from Australia to Los Angeles and everywhere in between. Abby is the producer of the Short and Sweet Speakeasy: a weekly classic burlesque show at Avant Garden, The Hush-Hush Cabaret at The Blind Finch in Spring, TX, and Cocktails & Tease Burlesque Brunch in the summertime where she is the MC and featured singer. In the fall you can see her in the Pirate Burlesque Show: Tease of the Seas at the Texas Renaissance Festival.

She was recently featured in Houstonia Magazine where she talks about the Renaissance of the Houston Burlesque scene.
