Somewhere in between “I think I’ll scrap this one and I love it!”

Quite possibly every artist goes through this ebb and flow when working on a new piece. I either don’t like it or feel stuck until the right stroke happens and turns it all around.

Up close: ‘Stone Writing in Neutrals’

When I was starting this collection, I didn’t have a set direction in my mind. My friend encouraged me to try working with thread to create line after seeing some of my collage with fabric pieces, so I did. Rich in texture yet simplicity, I loved the result and a whole series of work was born. I’m currently working on more pieces in various color ways and sizes. I can’t wait to share them all!
