Since I found out that I’m allergic to one or more of the ingredients used in acrylic gel, I had to convert to wearing press-ons in order to get that posh manicured look I love. For months, I’ve been searching high and low for a small business that sells pre-fab press-ons that are cute and stylish, but not over the top in design. Needless to say, I finally think I found what I’ve been looking for in . ‘𝘿𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠’ & ‘𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙮 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙙’ are two perfect designs to incorporate into my fall/winter looks.⁣

Here’s some recent brand work I completed for a budding hair removal company called Viscosity Wax. Being that they’re in an over-saturated industry with well established market leaders, I knew we had to go 𝗕𝗢𝗟𝗗 with the brand design. Not only that, but I knew we had to target a niche in the market in order to have a fighting chance. ⁣
⁣
So meet 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘅, an 𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯-𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 hair removal brand created to serve the waxing needs of newly-certified professionals and at-home/DIY waxers alike. They not only supply their customers with 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 hair removal products, but they also 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 them on how to properly use their products and provide them with helpful waxing tips and tricks. Ultimately, Viscosity strives to build a 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 of knowledgeable wax aficionados and equip them with every tool needed to wax like an 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁. ⁣

Still in absolute awe of these shots I took of from last year. This was my first time trying out a few new lighting and editing tips I had recently picked up from a photography course, which ended up elevating my product photography skills to a whole new level. Since this shoot, I’ve purchased some more equipment and upped my skill level a few more notches to create even better visuals for my clients. & have been my makeup and skincare go-tos since they launched (most of my makeup is Fenty and all of my skincare is Fenty). Needless to say, I believe makes a good, quality product 🤷🏽‍♀️. In the not-so-distant future, I can see her expanding into hair, nails, Home goods, etc. aka building a whole Fenty Empire. ⁣

If I got the chance to design packaging for “𝙁𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙃𝙖𝙞𝙧”, this is what I imagine the packaging would look like. The shampoo and conditioner bottles would be made from recyclable glass or metal and to re-up, customers would purchase refills in 𝘦𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺-𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 instead of buying new containers. Likewise, the hair mask container can also be repurposed into a candle, a storage container for small objects, a small vase, etc. as it is made of frosted glass. They key is for the package be 𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵, 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗸, & 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, similar to the packaging for Fenty Skin products.⁣
