Today is the Houston Art Car Parade! We will be #248, near the end, but in good company!

In the last couple days the car with it's new Space City Pinball League theme & working pinball trailer has entertained humans of all ages. Come on out tomorrow before the parade kicks off to play some free pinball :)

Art Car Ball 2025 is in the books, the parade starts today at 2pm! Come early to visit the art cars as they start parking along Allen Parkway.

We are number 197, keep an eye out for us!

A few days ago attached the temporary accoutrements to get the car ready for the Houston Art Car Parade and related events. Main parade is Saturday April 12th, we will be car 197 (out of 270), and is a lot of fun...we are one of the more tame entries.

Some pictures from a event for Seniors the other day, some of the little kids came to check out the cars too. Was great to see all ages enjoying the car. Meeting a friend at Waffle House was a nice bonus.

Our little guy asks: "Who's ready for some ART CARS!?" Today is the big day, parade starts at 2, but there are plenty of activities before then, so get on downtown to see the sights! We are #176, hope to see you there!

The Studebaker will be overshadowed (literally this time, we are behind this amazing Phoenix car I believe!) by some amazing collisions of art, mechanics, creativity, whimsy & overall fun. If you have never witnessed it, it is worth the trip.

The 2024 Art Car Parade events are in full swing! We toured some schools today, cars will be at Discovery Green tonight, more schools tomorrow morning, followed by the Art Car Ball! Parade is Saturday at 2pm. Come on out, we are car 176 (of over 270!!!).

We had a great time at the ArtCar parade, now after some rest it is time for more events! Tomorrow Morning July 1st we will be at Post Houston downtown for their morning "Coffee and Cars" American Icons event. While the Studebaker won't have it's ArtCar flourishes on, David Haim's 'Buick Reflectra' seen behind us will be there in all its reflective glory!

On the morning of the 4th of July though, SCAR will be represented back in ArtCar mode for the annual Lindale parade at 10am! Come check it out! On Irvington, just South of 610 on the North side of town.

Abc 13 will be airing the parade here in a few minutes at 1pm Saturday! We were #191, tune in if you missed the parade in person!
