Here at Moth, we are constantly searching for new ways to engage with artists and creators of all mediums. This one’s for the visual artists. Spread the word!

Our Open Call is an opportunity for visual artists to bring new work into our space through a two-month exhibition cycle. Selected artists will have the opportunity to display their work at Moth, connect with other selected artists, and sell their work if desired.

Each exhibition cycle will begin with a gallery opening celebrating the selected artists and their work.

Tosin Aribisala is a multifaceted and award-winning musical force. As a composer, drummer, vocalist, and producer, the Nigerian-American artist’s multicultural background shapes his distinctive artistry. Tosin has performed with notable artists including Femi Kuti, Spyro Gyra, Arturo O’Farrell, Taj Mahal, Antibalas, Vieux Farka Toure, and many others. As a bandleader, Tosin’s group recently delivered a scintillating performance at the Kennedy Center. A dedicated educator, Tosin currently teaches at the British International School. His Afrobeat drumming tutorials on Drumeo have been widely viewed, drawing students and enthusiasts to his unique approach. On March 27th, 2026, Tosin’s EP, Soul Odyssey, was released through Ayanmo Records - a stunning body of work that captures the full depth and range of his musical vision.

This Thursday, we introduce a very special collaboration between jazz musician Matthew Cruz and award-winning visual artist Saj Baldwin, two young artists emerging from Houston and already reaching audiences on a national and global level.

Matthew Cruz’s “Triom” will perform improvised music alongside the visual works of Saj Baldwin, all while a new piece is curated in real time, creating an explorative, conversational artistic experience.

🚨HOUSTON🚨 We are officially hosting our first game night on August 8th at moth 🎲

We will bring our famous games to a live audience. Y’all said you knew more ball than us, well….now is your chance to show it 🤷🏾‍♂️

You, (yes I’m talking to you) will have a chance to play our famous group games such as: Keep 3-Cut 7, Take a Shot, Blind Rankings and more. The topics will be mostly centered around music and entertainment with a sprinkle of sports.
