We have another special show this Friday with the Sasha Ripley Quintet in our private listening room. May 15th at 8pm we welcome Sasha, a Houston native and HSPVA alum who has gone on to have a wonderful career in music and is back in town for a special presentation of live jazz with a fantastic group of players here in our space.

HOUSTON TEXAS - MOTH PRESENTS - DRAKE ICEMAN PRIVATE RELEASE LISTENING PARTY and JAZZ PERFORMANCE

Thursday May 14th - Drake release night starts at 8pm with a performance by The Adam Dewalt Experience ( ) featuring a wide variety of special live music influenced by Drake’s catalogue.

NEXT, the album “ICEMAN” will be featured in its entirety here in our listening room along with live-streaming/live reactions and more…

Tickets must be found at the link in our bio and this will be a highly limited availability event with no tickets sold at the door and no admissions after it’s sold out.

This Thursday in our listening room we are welcoming “Parallax”, a jazz project led by saxophonist Dustin Drews.

Dustin specializes in semi-tonal playing and has developed a unique harmonic framework using 24 EDO, an increasing popular tuning method using quarter tones. Born and raised in Houston, he recently returned after spending 12 years in Berlin, where he performed in various groups in the club scene and has presented his original compositions around Europe. His playing is a clear representation of the future of his instrument and the current direction of modern jazz. We can’t wait to host him and his group here together with you all.
