Well, our final show was a blast! Billy D Allen and friends gave a great performance and the crowd had a ball. I’ll be making a post with pictures from all 10 amazing shows in a couple of days. In the meantime, here are some pics from last night’s show. Feel free to tag folks you know and share. We’ll do it again next year!

Hey, that looks familiar! :)

Here are just a few lovely times we had on the road over the past two weeks. I’m so proud that our band was all vaxxed to the max and were able to lift some spirits out there. The profound feeling I’ve come away with is complicated, but let it suffice to say, when we were in Vermont, we were in the highest percentage of vaccinated humans in the USA. It actually felt normal again. Then to return back to my home state of Mississippi and see lowest rate and hear from friends who work in hospital how the delta variant of COVID is breaking our population down, it’s very telling.
If you love to boogie, h***y tonk or rock n roll live and in person get vaxxed and you’ll still have some juking joints to frequent and raise some sand. Can I please get an amen?
We the people need live music in our lives. It’s a part of the equation.

Hold on, he's coming! Billy D. Allen along with Drumb and Drumber will be closing out the 2021 Houston Levitt AMP Series with a soulful night at Legion Lake this Saturday at 7:30 pm. It's going to be a great show and we hope to see you there!

Super fun show last night with the The Outlaw Apostles and Honeyboy and Boots! One of the things that made last night so much fun was the power going out for almost an hour. Rather than call the show off, the Apostles encouraged everyone one to pull their chairs up next to the stage and then they played an “unplugged” set that really showed off their harmonies and made the show really special…then the power came back on we had another great show! Again, a very special night. We’ve got one more show next Saturday…an R&B/Soul show with Billy D Allen and friends. Hope to see you then!

We've got a BIG SHOW coming up this Saturday night with TWO great acts: Honeyboy and Boots will be opening for the Outlaw Apostles out of Nashville! The show will start a little early, at 7pm. Bring your lawnchairs, bring grandma, bring the kids! This is a fun, family-friendly event, and it's FREE! Video from both acts are in the comments. Check 'em out! There's only one more show after this one, so if you've not been to concert yet, you're running out of time. Hope to see you Saturday night at Legion Lake!

Another great show last night at Legion Lake with The Minks. This is the 8th show of our 10 week series, so there are only two left. All the music has been great, and each week we’ve all been treated to a spectacular sunset! Next week will be The Outlaw Apostles! We will have BBQ at the concert this Saturday from Just A Simple Man BBQ! We’ll also have plenty to wash it down with…and, of course, great music! Hope to see you Saturday night at 7:30. All you need to do is bring a lawn chair and a smile!

Are you looking for another great, FREE, outdoor concert on Saturday? We've got you covered! The Minks will be bringing a good, high energy show with them from Nashville. They said they may even cover some Bobbie Gentry for us :). If you've been coming to these shows throughout the summer, you know how much fun they are, so bring a friend or two. Also, we have the refreshments worked out, so whether you come thirsty or hungry, we'll have you covered. Looking forward to seeing you all at Legion Lake on Saturday night!
