Having lived most of her childhood in rural and more forested areas, Tricia left the womb exhibiting an affinity for all things creative and unique. Though always having had an interest in art, she began seriously creating pieces in her teens, taking cues from her favorite artists like Frida Kahlo, Susan Seddon Boulet, Gustav Klimpt, Alphonse Mucha, Georgia O'Keefe, and all of the Pre-Raphaelite a
rtists (to name a few). Nature, the supernatural, and dreams all have their own special place in her work. Often combining mystical and spiritual overtones along with the subject of the Divine Feminine, many of her pieces reflect a deep analytical complexity evoking feminine presence in the spiritual, physical, and metaphysical realms. Being a multi-medium artist, Tricia also writes, creates inspired jewelry, sings, and dances. While all her choices of mediums make themselves known to her via her own source, her painted/drawn work tends to lean toward abstract expressionism with a twist of surrealistic fantasy. Never shying away from emotion, Tricia's pieces often summon a very intense emotional response in all those who are exposed to her work. She still resides in Texas with her partner of 18 years and their 3 cats, and is currently hard at work on a series of new pieces. You can find Tricia's professional Instagram for more detailed information on where and how she gathers her inspiration and vision for her creative endeavors.
