Holding space for Hope… Compassion Focused Art Workshop in Houston in support of Art Exhibition “Art in War” with , co-currating with in partnership with Dougal Cameroon, Allen Fuller, and Christine Gabriel in the historic Eperson building. Amidst the beauty of the world… war persists as do the cracks and broken nature of humanity. As wars in the world rage on I remember and acknowledge the incredible honor of doing an very meaningful exhibition and healing informed art workshop this past spring in response to all atrocities through the many wars of past and current history as seen through the horrific story of October 7th in Israel, a land dear to my heart. As the anniversary approaches I stand with hope for a better future through compassion that crosses cultural barriers finding commonality in the territory of the heart.
