Upward has been busy, busy…but, a blessed busy as we were in the house with for the Kickback with Dave Maldonado and Charles R. Edwards of the Oscar winning film, “Sinners”. It is always a pleasure to be amongst film and entertainment colleagues. continues to be a leading organizing in Houston with their events, programs and workshops connecting Houston’s film talent to industry leaders and professionals. Upward Artistry remains to support MPAC in all that they do throughout the Houston community. And shout out to for such an aesthetically pleasing venue.

We are so please to announce our partnership with . HUECONA stands for the Houston United in Entertainment Conference & Awards, which is Houston’s flagship cultural and entertainment platform. To add, our Founder’s docuseries “And The BEAT Goes On” will also be featured with a short screening🎬🎥

The multi-day event is designed to unite, celebrate, and elevate local and national creative talent across diverse industry sectors. The conference explicitly honors excellence in film, music, arts, fashion, sports, culinary arts, and innovation with voting open for nominees within these areas.

Attendees can participate in industry panel discussions, networking mixers, creative competitions, and live award presentations.

HUECONA aims to expand Houston’s reputation beyond its traditional oil and gas roots by showcasing its thriving creative economy.
