Announcing the New Studio Director to the Institute of Contemporary Dance, Kiki Carruth. We can’t wait for you to meet her a d read more about her below ⬇️

Kiki Carruth is a dance artist and arts administrator from Dallas, Texas. She received her early dance education from Dallas Black Dance Academy and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts before earning her BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts. Kiki has performed works by artists including Mark Caserta, Juel D. Lane, Bill T. Jones, Loni Landon, Garrett Smith, Omar Román De Jesús, and Tommie-Waheed Evans. She has danced with BigKid Dance Company for two seasons and has worked as an instructor, choreographer, and studio administrator. As Studio Director, Kiki brings her experience across both the artistic and administrative sides of dance to the Institute of Contemporary Dance. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, organized environment where students and artists feel supported and where creativity can thrive.

🎉 Introducing our PATH+ Program! 🎉

PATH+ is designed for movers ages 11-18 who want to further their dancing through consistent training and performance. Movers will be registered under the PATH+ Unlimited Class Package and in order to remain in the PATH+ Program, they must attend at least 4 PATH classes per week. They are free to choose which classes to attend throughout the week, as long as they are meeting the minimum requirement. Monthly Tuition will also include participation in one group dance with their fellow PATH+ members. Rehearsals will be scheduled upon availability. This piece will be performed at the Houston Contemporary 2 shows on December 10th and 11th, 2026; June 10th and 11th, 2027 as well as the Young Movers Showcase on May 15th, 2027.
