Becoming a nurse has really taught me that I have to come to grips with the necessity of rest. I’ll be very transparent that rest doesn’t come natural to me, it’s never been my strong suit and I’ve been learning that rest is stewarding what God is giving me well and it’s a non-negotiable.

It’s so necessary, especially because I take care of so many other people I can’t show up the way I want to when I don’t manage my rest well.

It’s honestly something I’m still working on, but this summer I felt like I got to catch up a little bit and rest and enjoyment. How was your summer? 🤍

IMMA SAY THIS ONE WITH 10 toes down and my head held high, because I think this one will really help you.

Number FIVE specifically change the entire trajectory of my life and I’m not being funny.

I’ve been thinking about this one a lot because I’m noticing some trends of what really separates those who see spiritual growth and go higher with God versus those that don’t.

I don’t take credit for any of God‘s grace on my life… at the same time, the ones that get miracles in the Bible are people that I see step out with faith and action. They walked TOWARD Jesus.

I wanna encourage you not to play about your spiritual growth, but really Christian walk so serious, Jesus is waiting for you! Don’t wait until tomorrow, tomorrow may never come. Love you, want the best for you. 🤍

Being a single mom feels so taboo sometimes… But I won’t ignore that it’s a large part of my life.

If you know my story, you know that it wasn’t easy becoming a mama, but I wouldn’t change it and I’m not ashamed but that’s a different testimony.

Working in healthcare as a nurse full time, grad school, and mothering while trying to keep God first feels like a roller coaster sometimes. Just know if I make it feel easy, many days it’s not.

At the same time, I know that He’s faithful, God is so faithful to me, and in my journey to become a future nurse practitioner He’s stretching me, and I’m grateful to be in this space. I know one day I’ll look back and laugh.

What’s something you’re working through in this season? What helps you “balance” it all???

Thank goodness for a lunch break. Because a hospital shift… the lunches loooked a little different let me put it like that. So thankful. 🥹
