The Miss Amelia County Fair Scholarship Pageant takes center stage this Saturday, June 20th at 1:00 PM at the Amelia County Veterans Center, located at 16440 Five Forks Road!

Come out and cheer on these outstanding young ladies as they compete for the coveted title of Miss Amelia County Fair and the opportunity to represent our fair throughout the year. 🌟

The Amelia County Fair is getting closer, and we're gearing up for another amazing year! One of our fastest-growing attractions is our Silent Auction Room, which we started just two years ago. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, it has become a huge success!

All proceeds from the silent auction help fund expenses for our Fair Queen Scholarship Program, supporting local young women and their educational goals.

We're currently looking for donations from local businesses, organizations, and individuals. No donation is too small or too large! Some great examples include:

🚜 Gravel or landscaping materials
🪵 Lumber or woodworking items
👕 Custom shirts or apparel
🧵 Quilts, crafts, and handmade items
🌱 Lawn care or landscaping services
🍔 Gift certificates for food or local restaurants
🖨️ Printing services
🎁 Gift baskets, tools, experiences, and much more!

If you'd like to donate, just send us a message. We will gladly arrange pickup of your item(s), and be happy to create a promotional flyer highlighting your business and donation as a thank-you for supporting the fair.

❄️ Exciting News from the Amelia County Fair! ❄️

The Amelia County Fair Association is thrilled to announce that the Exhibit Hall at Joe Paulette Park will be fully air conditioned for this year's fair!

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Amelia County and the Department of Public Works for making this improvement possible.

Now fairgoers can take a break from the summer heat, cool down after strolling the midway, and enjoy all the amazing vendors, handmade exhibits, artwork, crafts, and more in comfort.

Our monthly Amelia County Fair Association meeting will be held tomorrow, June 16th, at 7:00 PM in the Fair Office. Whether you're a longtime volunteer or just interested in learning more about the fair, everyone is welcome to attend.

The Amelia County Fair Needs Your Help!

We are fortunate to have access to a beautiful horse arena during the fair, but we are still looking for groups interested in putting on a performance or demonstration for our fairgoers.

Do you know of an equestrian group, riding club, drill team, mounted shooting organization, carriage driving group, rodeo act, or any other horse-related performance group that might be interested? We'd love to hear from them!

We are still looking for volunteers to help with this year’s fair, and there are opportunities for everyone to get involved. Whether you want to help with planning, setup, events, admissions, vendors, or activities, we’d love to have you join us.

The Amelia County Fair Association will hold its monthly meeting tonight, March 17th at 7:00 PM at the Amelia County Administration Building. We encourage anyone interested in helping plan the fair and creating a fun, memorable event for our community to attend.

We will also be introducing our new Junior Council, open to middle and high school students. This is a great opportunity for young people to get involved, volunteer, and learn more about how the fair comes together.

This year marks America’s 250th Birthday, and we want our fair theme to celebrate this historic milestone in a BIG way!
We’re looking for creative, patriotic theme ideas that highlight 250 years of American pride, history, and community spirit.
🗓 All entries must be submitted by March 1st.

The winning theme will receive 4 tickets to the Fair PLUS 4 tickets to the Demolition Derby!
