Pilot Recording Studios, founded in New York City in 1993 by Will Schillinger is now located in a former church in Housatonic, Massachusetts. Pilot Recording's new studios feature a beautiful cathedral-ceiling live room containing an original 19th century E. & G. Pilot will continue to provide the same vintage and state-of-the-art gear and instruments, as were hallmarks of its NYC facility, includ

ing a collection of over 100 microphones and a vast array of vintage analog and digital outboard gear with a wrap-around SSL 4080 G+. Pilot's new studios at the Housatonic Church also provide a full compliment of outboard recording, mastering and monitoring gear. Pilot will continue to deliver the cleanest, most direct feed via a wide variety of class A microphone pre-amps tracking to 2 inch and ½ inch tape and the highest resolution apogee-based pro-tools mix rig. This is a full service tracking and mixing facility. The new Pilot Recording Studios at the Housatonic Church includes an attached former parsonage, which will offer accommodations for clients.
