If you’re wondering if this is real, yes, it absolutely is! 😊 We are located on Shrimpers Row, right next to the KC Home, and we’re giving away free back-to-school supplies for kids! We are located under the building to get away from this heat. Come by and let your kids pick their supplies while they last.

Our very first Summer Enrichment Program at the Community Outreach Program Office @ Shrimpers Row was a huge success! Watching our children learn, create, explore, and have fun together reminded us why investing in our youth is so important.

A heartfelt thank you to Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana, Dardar’s Bayou Plant Nursery LLC, The Grand Caillou/Dulac Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha-Choctaw Tribal Leadership, and our amazing COPO team. Your time, support, and dedication made this program possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

From learning about our beautiful coast and planting flowers to exploring solar energy, making solar ovens, this week was filled with smiles and unforgettable memories.

This is just the beginning. We are excited to continue growing this program and creating even more opportunities for the children and families of the bayou communities.

Thank you to everyone who believed in this vision. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what’s next! 💙☀️🌱

We want to give a huge shoutout to Dardar’s Bayou Plant Nursery for their generosity and support of our community floating bed garden! 🌿💚

Helping us replace the plastic, donating shade cloth and working hard to keep everything growing strong.

On behalf of the Tribe and our hardworking COPO team, we want to sincerely thank everyone who came out today. Your support and donation mean so much to us and are truly appreciated.

Due to the rain (which our plants are grateful for 🌧️⛈️🌦️☀️🌱🌸🌷🌻) we will not be hosting the second day of the rummage sale.

We’ll share updates soon on our next rummage sale, so please stay tuned.
